Core eLetter: GoldMine PE 8.5 Release Solves Several Issues

The recent release of GoldMine Premium Edition 8.5 has resolved several issues. We've listed them here:

 

Incident Description: Word link 217 with 8.02.80208, the Insert GoldMine Fields list is not in order by Contact 1 or Contact2.
Resolution: Issue resolved with new Word Link included in GMPE 8.5.0 release.

The following issues have all been resolved with the release of GMPE 8.5.0
Incident Description: User opens the Search Center and initiates a Filter using the Search By, Operator, and Value fields (using the F2 Lookup in Value). The User clicks the + sign to add another condition to the Filter, then adds same Search By, and Operator. When the User clicks the F2 Lookup pick list arrow, the list is empty. (NOTE: - does not matter which Operator is selected or if it is an AND/OR statement.)

Incident Description: The Links Tab is currently sorted by date -- oldest first. They want it changed it to be the newest first. Is there a user.ini setting to accomplish this?

Incident Description: Userdef field data is not showing up in Search Center when a Filter is activated in Search Center.

Incident Description: Runtime error when populating the CC field for an email.

Incident Description: Search index sort order is not respected while scrolling though contact records.

Incident Description: In Options>Record Tab>, selecting Contact Window Title to be Company does not change the setting in the Title Bar, it still shows Contact.

Incident Description: After upgrade to 8.03, sync to Outlook only brings in an Appointment's Time and Reference -- (Office 2003 SP?). Before the upgrade, sync to Outlook brought in Time, Reference, Contact, Company and Phone.
